DESCRIPTION:t’s time once again for Pints & Pixels. \nAnd this time\, we’re adding a bonfire so you can not only share the good stuff\, but burn the bad stuff too! \nThursday November 13 at 7pm at Todd Joyce’s studio in Lebanon\, 2174 S. Waynesville Road\, where we can have a BIG fire. \nBring a friend\, bring images to share\, and bring an adult beverage of your choice.\nPizza provided by ASMP! \nNetworking and the bonfire begins at 7:00pm.\nSharing of images starts at 8:30pm. \nAbout the bonfire…\nDo you have that one photo lurking in your archives\, the one so cringe-worthy you’d rather pretend it never existed? Maybe you’ve got some old business cards from a gig that went south\, or a project that’s been haunting you like a bad ghost. It’s time to free yourself from the past and those bad vibes—welcome to the ASMP Pints & Pixels\, Burn Your Bad Art Bonfire! \nJoin us for a night of cathartic fun and laughter as we gather to literally burn away our photographic sins. Bring those terrible\, embarrassing\, or just plain awful shots and toss them into the flames. Let’s face it\, we all have them\, and what better way to say goodbye than watching them go up in smoke with a group of friends who totally get it? \nSo\, dig out those disasters\, bring your worst\, and let’s make some room for future masterpieces. It’s all about freeing ourselves\, having a laugh\, and maybe a drink or two while we’re at it. After all\, who doesn’t love a good bonfire? \nAfter we burn the bad stuff\, we’ll also share the good stuff with Pints & Pixels—see you there! 🔥📸✨

SUMMARY:Charity event: Flashes of Hope shoot (Dublin\, Ohio)
DESCRIPTION:ASMP photographers have individually volunteered their time over the years to help Flashes of Hope\, a program of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation\, provide childhood cancer families with free photography sessions in local hospitals and special events around the country. The most talented\, professional photographers volunteer their time capturing smiles and forever preserving images of courage\, beauty\, and dignity. The families receive a print portrait package and a digital photo gallery of uplifting black and white portraits at no cost. \nAs of 10/27/25\, Flashes of Hope/Columbus needs 4 more volunteer photographers for an upcoming event in Dublin\, Ohio on Sunday morning\, December 14th\, 2025\, to photograph 180 families at NC4K (Nellie’s Champions for Kids) Holiday Party. (They have 10 so far\, I believe). \nDetails: \nSunday\, December 14th\, 2025\n8:00 am – 12:00 noon\, Eastern\nAt Scene 75 in Dublin\, OH \nEquipment and set-up needed:\n• camera and related gear\n• full size backdrop (paper\, muslin\, whatever you prefer) and stands large enough to fit a family\n• light set-up\, soft box and /or umbrellas \nSetup begins at 8am. Shoot starts at 9am. \nPostproduction file prep involves:  \n\nconverting images to black and white\nselecting two favorite images for 8×10 enlarged prints\nconverting all other images to 5×7 print size\nuploading the files to a shared Dropbox folder that is provide prior to the shoot\n\nFiles from photographers are requested to be submitted within two weeks.  \nIf a photographer is interested in volunteering but does not have the time for the postproduction editing and file prep\, we are happy to do it for you. \nPlease contact Lisa Cencula\, Flashes of Hope and Outreach Manager\, at lisa@flashesofhope.org or 216-544-0070 to sign-up and for more information.
